Just finished it. I think this is one of Keene's best books. I loved the ending.

Was a disapointment. I was exspecting a zombielike ghoul (which it was). Kinda a good, kills evil book....

What it ended up being was a tale about three 12 yr. old boys & how thier innocents was destroyed.

How that monsters are not only in the stories you read....(blah, blah,...

The first Keene book I ever read. Loved it! What's not to love when a guy wears an Anthrax hoodie in his author pic?

This is the best horror I have read. The characters are very believable. And the situations are well handled. This one book I could not put down. If they ever made a movie out of this book, it would be a good one to see. Everything that happens in this book would fit perfectly. I don't normally suggest a book in this genre (cause I'm kinda new to the horror genre), but this one I would highly suggest.

I love almost everything that Brian Keene does, but this is one of my favorites of his. his is something everyone should read on a night that they want something to scare them.

How that monsters are not only in the stories you read....(blah, blah, blah).

Along with all that, he did throw the ghoul in there to rob graves & eat the dead, and eventually the living. In my opinion the ghoul was totally out of place in this book. The writer should have ditched the title "Ghoul" along with the ghoul!!!

    The ended totally sucked!!!

This is just my opinion. Read if you wish.

I would NOT recommend this book!

Wow, my husband read this book first adn handed it to mae and said "Here, check this one oout" Now, he is very hard to please as we have a small stack of books next to the bed and he doesn't like nay of them, so I was intrigued as to what caught his interest. I'm not finished yet, but oh my! I intend to finish this weekend as now since little Timmy is figuring it out, smart boy, then I have to see how he "saves the town" and of course, being the romantic I am, want to see if him and Katie make it out alive, LOL.

Ghoul seemed quite the collage of all the horrific things we've come to know horror as. The book was well written and an easy read that kept the tips of your finger readily pressing the corners of the next page. Brian Keene seems to enjoy dipping his quill into the bloody dark depths of sex, gore and monstrous beings with a dash of salt on the wounds of a world gone wrong. After reading Ghoul it is hard to compare Keene's work to one or two specific authors but I guarantee you will enjoy the wicked ride through the twilight zone he creates for his readers. Keene is on the rise and favored to be a daunting shadow for greats such as Stephen King and John Saul. ~ Kristy Tallman, Author of The All-Soul's Faire.
