“One of the best books in the Tintin series. The introduction of Captain Haddock is in this book. and boy, is he hilarious. As usual a man suffering from alcoholism, he actually makes the disorder look very comical. I'm sure if captian haddock had been shown sober, then this book would not be funny. The pages where they show a full pic of the situation at hand truly helps with the book giving it a movie feel. as usual, a great masterpiece in comic books by herge. ”

“Very simple story with no depth. Are all Tintin stories like this? The pictures are fun, the jokes a bit funny. ”
