This "Special X" novel concerns the Pacific Campaign of the Second World War. The back story is very interesting and I enjoyed finding out more about Jackie Hett - one of the newest members of Special X.
Some of the older characters show up, but this is Jackie's show.
I always recommend searching out all of the Special X novels and reading them in order. ”
