I wasn’t sure how Sinclair was going to make zombies into science fiction, but she did it. Mostly because these zombies aren’t resurrected dead people. They’re constructs that suck the life force out of people. They have more in common with the Terminator robots than “Night of the Living Dead.” Except that they’re about as hard to kill as zombies—but they are killable—and they’re about as bright as zombies. So, these space people are chasing the bad zombies after a war where the zombies got...

I usually gush over Linnea's books, but not this time. Barely held my interest. It was an interesting concept, but it was used as a plot what plot for a romantic interlude... I didn't get into it at all.
