Eclipse (The Twilight Saga, Book 3)

Eclipse

by Stephenie Meyer

Edward’s soft voice came from behind me.

I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, just like he had in the parking lot, and kissed me again. This kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine–like he was afraid we had only so much time... (read more)

Um, I know so far that Jacob is in love with Bella...and I think someone told me that he kisses her...So does Edward blow up, or does he never hear about it

Wow! I loved this book every emotion that Bella experienced had me in that same situtation! Really think Stephenie Meyers made some good decisions on this book! I just hope in her future books she won't have Bella close to death and tramuatized after it seems like that in every book! Anyhow I loove Jacob no matter his cocky side I hope he would imprint on someone so Bella can continue her relationship with him! And gosh dammit I wish Bella would just become a vampire for heavens sake! AWESOME read! Have fun with it!

Hey everyone!!! I just emailed SM and asked if she would create a shelf here at Shelfari! Lets all email her and ask. Maybe if she gets enough requests then she will make one. I just went on to her MySpace page http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=52906350 and emailed her from there.

I just finished Eclipse, and my daughter is off to buy me Breaking Dawn. I'm not sure how I want this to end...I do think that Jacob is meant for another, but I don't necessarily want Bella to give up her human-ness for Edward...yet. Is there some redemption available to Edward and the Cullens via Bella? Is that why she is so different? That's what I'm interested to find out....

I agree with aania_neo. I'm not sure New Moon was all that terrible as much as just too darn predictable. Eclipse was a nice rebound and quite a save for me. I'm awaiting Breaking Dawn. I have a sneaky suspision that Breaking Dawn isn't going to end how I imagine the series ending and it will be a big let down.

Read this one and I think I'll rate the books like... Twilight was the best and then Eclipse... I think New Moon kinda sucked...all that depression just didn't go down well with me.
Anyways.. talking abt Eclipse... I, too, don't think Jacob and Bella would go that well together... and plus there's no hint that Jacob's meant for Bella that way Sam's meant for Emily. And plus... Bella and Edward are just too good together. Won't wanna break them apart :D
I liked the way the werewolves and the vampires join hands to fight agaist the new - born army...

However, I just can't wait to see what happens after Bella turns into a vampire... am all waiting to get my hands on 'Breaking Dawn' :)
