Like a lot of la Nora's books it takes a couple of chapters to get into. The base story is complex and she handles it well over the first two books of this series.. " Blood Brothers" and "The Hollow"

Quinn and Cal make a cute couple and Cal's love for his hometown shines thru] The descriptions of the town and the townspeople are charmingly done.

I reccomend the whole trilogy even though book 3 won't be out till December '08.

This book was too formularic which I know is a contradiction for a romance novel. It was just too similar to her Vampire series. I would not recommend it even as a light easy read.

I did like this book, but in my opinion, this is one of her weaker trilogies.
