  • Bumbelwy: A not-very-funny man who wants to be a jester.
  • Rhia: Merlin's female friend who lives in the old forest in an ancient tree
  • Dagda: The main Fincayran god. He is known for his wisdom and astonishingly great wizardly power.
  • Shim: A "tiny giant" who has a love for honey. Emrys and Rhia meet him on their travels, and he proves that the size of the body is not what matters, but the size of the heart.
  • Tuatha: Emrys's grandfather, Tuatha was the greatest wizard to come until Merlin was born, he lulled the great dragon to sleep.
  • Gwen: Merlin's Mother
  • Cairpre: A wise and famous bard who helps Emrys on his travels.
  • Nimue: A woman who lives in Slantos
  • Garlatha: A woman who grows an abundant garden with her husband, T'lean.
  • Honn: A man who Emrys meets on his journey, he gives him a dagger that later saves Emrys's life.
  • Rhita Gawr: An evil spirit warlord who seeks to corrupt and control Fincayra, Earth, and the Otherworld
  • Domnu: An old hag who's magic is so old and powerful that Dagda nor Rhita Gawr dare to tamper with her. She loves games.
  • Stangmar: The evil king of Fincayra
