A magical land that must be saved, talking trees, giants and dowarves and most importantly Merlin of king Arther as a teenager trying to find his true name. The charecters are interesting and full but don't act like teenagers. Also If i chewed my lip everyime a charecter thoughtfull chewed or bit there lip I would have chewed right through my lip. I love the idea of this being Merlin's adolecent years although i dont recal Merlin ever being blind. I was emotinaly wounded when Trouble, Merliens merlin died and he rejoyced when Merlin took the name of his fallen companion as his own. This book was perfect for Harry Potter fans and has leaves me wanting more.”

This book is about the all-famous wizard Merlin and tells how he became a wizard and about his actual family. I really liked this book nad thought it was like Harry Potter genre and idea. The main lesson in this book (And the rest of the series) was how Merlin's dedication to save Rhia and all the Fincayra when it came down to it. Later he did achieve his goal. He became the Greatest Wizard of all.

“This book, The Lost Years Of Merlin, was a riveting story of a young boy named Emrys who determinedly sets out on a quest to find out about his past. As he sets forth, he learns the secrets of a magical land, Fincaray, and befriends a dryad named Rhianon as well as a little giant called Shim. Together, they set out to save Fincaray from being destroyed. But will they finish their quest or will they die trying? And will Emrys find out his name and his past?”
