This book is like taking a slow walk down the deep south of America. Little, pitch perfect, tells the story of life as seen through Livie's eyes. A gorgeous, gutsy and courageous twelve year old, who is trying to come to terms with her mother returning home from hospital and still in a coma. Livie's fantastic relationship with her father is heartwarming and her eccentric family members all combine to create such a rich texture in this beautifully told story. Cannot wait to read it again and immerse myself in their world.
