    This is a book to be read slowly. Peterson’s assertion here is that pastors need to reexamine what their work is truly to be, and that we can rediscover their work in five OT books that were read with the five Jewish feasts: Song of Songs, Ruth Lamentations, Ecclesiastes and Esther. He has many deep, big-picture thoughts derived from the texts.
