“Wolf - Steven Herrick
Story about Lucy and Jake, two teens who live in fram lands in Australia. Lucy is a gloomy girl who hates her father and most of her life. Jake is a hardworking boy who is loved and loves his parents and life. Jakes father believes a wolf exists in the woods. Jake and Lucy venture to find it.
I liked the fast yet entertaining pass of the story. It was filled with emotion, adventure and excellent description. It is one of those only young adult novels I enjoy reading. ”
“This novel is in verse, but it reads like paragraphs. I stayed up all night, finishing the book, because it was so good, I didn't want to put it down. Lucy Harding, and Jake Johnson, set off on an adventure to find a wolf, but also themselves. I love this book, and I recommend it to anyone. ”

The Wolf is about two neighbors, Lucy who is under the shadows of her violent father, and Jake, whose father saw the wolf before Jake was born and stopped talking about it ever since, but no one believes him because there aren't any wolves in Australia. When they start to hear the wolf's howl, Lucy and Jake go an adventure to find out whether the wolf exists or not. ”
“i thought this book was okay, i didnt like it a lot because it was a poetry kind of book, but the storyline was good.
This book is about two farmers who live in the Australian prairie, and dont get along. One family has a drunk father who doesnt do anything at all, while the other is a normal family. but these two families have something in common. they're both out for a mysterious "wolf" that keeps killing their livestock and howling at night. The kids of the two families go in search of the wolf, and disappear in the mountains. they are forced to stay the night, and keep each other company while the wolf hunts.”
“This was a pretty cool book. It was about a boy searching for a wolf that his father said that he saw a long while back and a girl trying to escape an abusive father, clueless brother, and cowardly mother. It took place in Australia so wolves were not suppose to be there but the two teenages go out together to try and find it. It was written in a poetry format from the pov's of the two which was different and cool. Also the action wasn't stated as it happened but as how the characters thought of it. I would recommend it as a cool book to read if someone was in between long novels because it's quite short and just kinda happens instead of being all deep and mysterious. It's a good book overall and I'm glad that I picked it from the shelves.”

Lucy finally has had enough of her father and goes searching for this wolf with Jack as an act of defiance to her father. Little does she know that this act of defiance will yield unforeseen consequences.
I thought that this was a very interesting book. It's not one of my favourites, but I was engrossed in it for as long as I read. Reading this story can inspire courage and the will to stand up for yourself.”
“This book is about Jake and Lucy whom go on an expedition to find a wolf/wild dog. They are tested emotionally, physically, and spiritually when there's an accident and they have to spend the night in a cave.”
