He was frightened by all the scary noises and then some weird things happened. First he saw a gargoyle by the door when he was going in. Then he saw a witch and ghost and a cat with metal armor and a metal helmet and no paw. His sister Thea, cousin Trap, and nephew Benjamin came to his rescue. Was the castle really haunted or was someone playing tricks on them? ”

“ This story is about adventure of mouse called Geronimo. He went to the castle and he found out it was owned by cats. ”

“Geronimo Stilton is on his way to his aunt's house, but before he can get there. He must first go through the woods. Then, he was lost and found out a castle w/c was not on the map. And then, it started to rain and it was night. So he decided to in the castle because he don't want to sleep in the car. So when he entered the castle many illusions or jokes was made and happened. After so many things, Thea, Trap, and Benjamin came they checked out the things that Geronimo told Thea on the phone. At first, they thought that Geronimo was imagining things. But after Benjamin told that he found out all the mysteries and proved it, they already believed it. So when the adventure continues, they found out that it was little cats playing pranks on them. Then they helped the cats to help their worned out castle to be used again. At the end, the cats already, are their friends, so they spend their halloween in the haunted house the year after.”

“ Cat and Mouse in a Haunted House is a great book. Geronimo finds himself lost in the woods. He finds a castle to stay in for the night. But the thing is the castle is haunted! And it's October 31! Will he find a way out? Or be stuck there forever?! Read it and find out!”
