Seriusly, meh.
A real letdown after reading Murder on The Orient Express. meh. meh. meh.
It is the typical story of a young and smart and beautiful english girl who is so smart and so pretty the handsomest fellow falls in love with her and they defeat gangster spies or something. This is ludicrously silly and I can't see how this isn't a classic case of Author-insertion.
I mean, COME ON, this book is not even good enough for the Young Adults section. It was boring and dull and meh meh meh.
I suppose she eventually grew out of this brand of bore, but I'm not touching anything by her again for a while.”

But this book was distinctly different than her other novels. Instead of featuring one of her beloved detectives, the mystery is investigated by an inexperienced young woman who initially has nothing to do with the mystery at all. It's very interesting to see everything through an innocent bystander's eyes. Also, Agatha Christie really adds quite a bit a romance in this tale, which is intriguing.”

But then I somehow could guess the ending of the book and in between you tend to lose interest in the story line. But a good time pass book. ”
