This happens to be my most favorite David Lynch movie as well, although slightly skewed in translation., however to the story's benefit.”

  “Interesting. I have to say that I enjoyed the movie more if only because the main characters felt a little more fleshed out. I felt that I was held at a distance from Sailor and Lula in the book which can be a bit of a detriment when you're asked to sympathize with the decisions they make. Still an interesting read though. ”
