My daughter lives in London so when I go there to visit, I usually take along a British mystery. Agatha Christie is usually in my carry-on.

    Agatha Christie is the best known mystery novelist of the 20th Century--and with good reason, for when it came to plots, truly fiendish plots, she could easily out-construct all competitors. She also had a knack for writing tongue-in-cheek, exhibiting a sly sense of humor for those sharp enough to catch it.
