I had read the three preceding Jackson Brodie books and enjoyed them. Ms. Atkinson's style takes some getting used to as she has a tendency to skip around a lot. Once you get in the swing, it's a fun read. She weaves a great tale. I have now seen the first three books as done on Masterpiece Theater and that only enhanced my enjoyment of this latest book. Jackson, as in earlier books, once again falls prey to women who need saving--in some way. I am hoping for more!
