You fall in love with the characters, even the animals and attach to them through the book so even when they grow old and pass on you feel a loss. ”

I recall growing up and having my mom talk all about his books. I moved to Colorado and both recommended I read Centennial as it's the history of northern Colorado...starting with the plate tectonics! The first 100 pages are pretty boring and I couldn't understand why both moms would recommend it. Then it got good. Really good. Michener's fortay is his character development and stories. I'm almost done, but it's hard to put down. ”

“Michner's Books give a slice of geography with the history of the land. some may think They are dated. I do not, because the flavor he brings to his taless prevail today”

“Really enjoyed this book; the history of how our continent was formed and the Arapahoe people and what became of them. The interaction between the new Americans/settlers and the Native Americans was very sad and we all know how that ended.....and what still goes on to this day.”
