Sure I have read books where I could relate to the characters. But the way that Sarah wrote this book, I felt extra close. That is why it is now on my favorites list. |

“I love Sarah Dessen books, always have always will, I think. Sarah dessen writes about young teens going through tough times ethier with growing up, family problems, school, or with just the way the teens are and act, communication.

In That Summer theres a young girl named Haven and in the book Haven still cant figure out who she is. With her sister, Ashley getting married, and her father engaged to a weather woman is just to much drama and Haven feels as if everything is moving to fast and moving away from her to fast. The reason Sarah Dessen called this book, That Summer is because just when Haven thinks this is it, a summer comes along were she meets an old friend that helps her remeber her past were everthing was great, or so Haven thought,when Havens old friend helps her go back to the past Haven finds it wasnt what she thiought it was. But all of her information that she gets helps her figure out who she really is. And its all worth it. That Summer is a great book!! ”
