“I didn't enjoy the start of it, but when it got going, Slaughter managed to keep a fast paced story line, and I got drawn into finishing it very quickly. All the characters were very detailed, and acted out the storyline exactly as they should, but very unpredictably, if that can be understood”

“The second book of Slaughter's that I tried to read, got about 1/2 through and started skimming...I wanted to know for sure who the killer was but didn't want to take the time to read as the story seemed to drag a bit and I lost interest.”

“This book started out well but the plot shifts were very rough and it is very easy to get lost and have to constantly flip back. This is not one of Slaughter's best.”
