SUMMARY: , set in the Chesapeake Bay area / present-day Maryland and Virginia. The murder of the granddaughter of the matriarch of the Greenstone clan on the eve of her arranged marriage to the leader of the upper villages threatens to tear the Algonquin nation apart. COMMENTS: An enlightening look back into ancient Algonquin tribal life
woven around a good murder mystery. I highly recommend this series.
