It is some years since i read people of the river but I remember it as being one of the better stories in that it is more linear, has a definite start and finish and ends up in Cahokia.. Now lots of 'mounds' which i then looked up and found interesting articles about. I have read all the people books up to P. of the masks/mists then the authors changed direction and i stopped buying, only last year finding out that they are back on track, Evelyn s
