“My first Lee Child Book -- hmm, Jack Reacher. The ex-militry man who can beat up anyone -- or two of anyone. Not my usual read, but one I wanted to try so I knew who to recommend it to at the library where I work. The question of what happened to Margaret kept me hooked through the book and kept me reading/listening through the bits of blood and bone getting blown all over walls. Or the people being burnt in their cars. Or the noses being crushed, in great detail. It was well written, I can say that. And I do know who to recommend Lee Child to now -- and who not to.”
