Absolutely one of my all-time favorite books. The concept itself is cool: photographers go around the world, spending time with an "average" family that reasonably represents the lifestyle of that country. There are images and stoires from their stay, culminating in a photo where all their material possessions are displayed outside their home, surrounding the family. What a great way to learn more about what is important in a country...how we differ, how we are the same. And the photos...
