“Patrick Davis is a screenwriter who once sold a screenplay, and is severely writer's blocked. His marriage is on the rocks, his job sucks, his life is essentially frozen. But when he starts to get threatening DVDs delivered to him, his ho-hum life starts turning into a thriller almost out of one of his books.
This thriller totally blew me away. I was not expecting a good book, I was expecting a cheesy, flat thriller that I could plow through and forget about, like Shadow Creek (why do I even read books like that? Bad habit.) But this surprised me. Granted, it's not great - the plot is ridiculous, for one - but it was enjoyable and just plain fun.”
