I hardly ever watched Seinfeld; I thought the show was base and narcissistic, not to mention hardly ever funny. But this book is beyond funny. It's difficult for me to reconcile these two facts, but nevertheless: this is a truly hilarious book.

Good stuff. Bits of Seinfeld material from his stand up. Worth reading if you've never caught him live.

It was funny enough to remember, but not great enough to remember how funny it was.

Being a HUGE fan of the "Seinfeld" NBC sitcom, this book was just an added bonus from the talented Jerry Seinfeld that I loved! It's a thin volume, and something you can go back to time and again for a few belly twitching laughs!

I had forgotten how witty this guy is ever since I stopped watching Seinfeld's re-runs. Watching the Bee Movie made me remove this of a dusty shelf and re-read it :) Most of what is said is said, most of what is talked about is talked about - but nevertheless you re-visit your own life and smaile - "oh yeah", uh-huh", "right"!!

One of my all time favorite books. I love Jerry. I miss the show, but since it ended I keep up reading this, watching reruns, seeing him live and listening to his audio. Love Jerry!

This collection mostly consists of monologues that you see in the opening sequence of most of the Seinfeld episodes (about half). I finished this book in about 2 hours. It is a very enjoyable read even knowing many of the punchlines. Seinfeld is kind of a "cleaned-up" version of Lewis Black and he likes to focus on the ironic. He presents some small tidbits about growing up such as his father's sign business and perhaps a full biography would be a worthwhile project.

I give this book 4 and a half stars and might have rated it higher had it been longer and included more new material.
