The ending did surprise me because I was expecting a different person to have done the snapping, but I like it when I am surprised by a books ending. There is a sequel to this book but I don't think that I will be reading it.”

Despite the confusion, I will admit that I have already picked up the sequal and I cannot wait to start on it.”

Once I started this book I literally could not put it down. Snapped centers around four friends- Camille, Misa, Domonique and Toya. Camile is the flawless beauty who is a kept wife to big time hustler Frankie. She loves her husband and all the material things he has provided for her and makes so easy for her to obtain, but does Frankie love her as much as she loves him? Camille's sister Misa is a newly divorcee and a single mother. She is slowly but surely getting her groove back and when she sets sights on Baron, a man who seems to have the entire world in his hands she wants nothing more, but to have his last name so she can enjoy the finer things in life. But when she REALLY gets to know Baron can she handle everything that comes along with his lifestyle? Domonique is beautiful, independent and she has a promising career so why is she hopeless waiting on a man that is in prison who seems to be the complete opposite of her? Then there's Toya, she's brutally honest and she tells it exactly the way it is whether you like it or not. She doesn't want love or to be in a committed relationship. She makes it impossible for any man to fall in love with her. Is it her past that has the door closed on love or is she truly that selfish that she doesn't want to love or be loved?
This book was truly a pageturner! I enjoyed every single page of Snapped and can't wait to read the sequel. The ending left me SPEECHLESS!!!!!!”
“*Whew*... I couldn't wait for part 2. GOOD READ!”

The story is interesting nonetheless, I found the novel to be far more "realistic" than most urban lit novels - I'm sure the avid readers of street/urban lit can tell you that. This novel was a pleasure to read, like all of Brown's novels. I guess there's a part two & I definitely cannot wait for that book because I really want to know how Brown ends the narratives of the 4 women characters.”
