While it had her trademark twists, they were relatively predictable. I got a little bogged down by the women's conversation in between background and storm stories. I liked the background and the danger of the storm was portrayed very well. I felt like I should have been fleeing my apartment. However, it ran on and on to an ending I knew about less than halfway through. Not her best writing.”

I enjoyed going back & seeing the history of each of the women that were put together in this elevator. And I have never been a fan of elevators before anyways - I REALLY dont like them now!”

They always keep me riveted to the storyline. She begins within the first few pages to get you interested in each one of the characters. A hurricane is headed to Tampa and Michelle wants to get to Parker and tell him that she wants a commitment from him right now so she heads to his office. Gina finds out that her husband has been cheating on her and she is determined to save her family by killing her husband with the ruse of the storm and heads for his office. Isabel, the cleaning lady at Lark Tower finds herself in quite a quandry and tries to escape as quick as possible in the elevator. These three women end up in the elevator at the same time and as the elevator goes up it stops and the power goes out. They are stuck in there and very scared. As they share their life stories the secrets that come out surprise them all. You definitely won't be disappointed by this book. It's another one of those quick reads because it's so good you don't want to put it down.”
