I had conjured a much more complicated plot from the summary on the flap, it wasn't so. It is a fairly easy read with some mystery and science fiction. It was a very Japanese book, in my opinion. Someone said that all the characters felt as if they were the same person...I can't agree completely, but they were pretty flat. But it seemed in keeping with the other Japanese novels (etc) I have read.”
