- Nicoletta: Nicoletta moves from her grandparent's home in the country to the bustling city of Rome and inadvertently begins an apprenticeship at Casetta dell'Orso. Becomes intrigued by the shy Claudio.
- Santo Claudio Paradiso: Head waiter at Casetta dell'Orso, a kind older man in the middle of a divorce that has impacted him greatly. Claudio is slowly charmed out of his shell by Nicoletta.
Setting & Locations edit
Ristorante Paradiso takes place primarily in a quaint interpretation of Rome. Farm girl Nicoletta journeys to the city in order to reestablish contact with her estranged mother.
- Casetta Dell'Orso: The restaurant at which most of the story takes place. The majority of the Ristorante Paradiso cast either work or visit there regularly.
