Genuinely scary book. I love the way James Herbert writes, quite raw and gritty. The violence is always graphic and his characters are incredibly real. I have included this one as it sticks in my memory more than the others but I love 90 per cent of Herberts work and thats probaby only because I haven't read any of his latest books.

Average horror yarn about the dead returning to a costal town in a mystic fog.
