“This satirical, profane dystopian novel set in the U.S. in the near future is a very difficult book for me to rate. For much of the first half of the book I hated it and kept thinking I should just stop reading and move on to something else. It was disturbing on so many levels. But I did finish it. Not a book I'd recommend to anyone else, though. The breakdown of U.S. society depicted in the book didn't seem ALL that far fetched. ”
