  “ST satire. This wasn't what I expected despite having been told, and yes, as people have pointed out, the Vulcans and Klingons didn't act like Vulcans or Klingons. Still, if you allow yourself not to take Trek seriously for a little while, this book is absolutely hilarious.
  
  If you read the history of why Ford wrote it the way he did, it makes a lot of sense. Paramount pretty much screwed him over, as he wanted this to be a book a sequel for the one that he wrote about Klingons.
  
  Bad move. Ford got his revenge in this book, in the sweetest way possible. ST parody musical is just plain win. ”
