Liked It “Maybe because I can relate to this character as I'm currently on bed rest but I really enjoyed this book. It was about way more than just being on bed rest but more about juggling relationships with family and friends and trying to figure out who you really are. Didn’t Like It “Terrible tacked on ending to an otherwise good story. Felt like they tried to turn a thoughtful (but thin) novel into chick lit so it would sell. It soured the whole book for me.” see full review » see other reviews » |

“I don't even know why I finished this one. This was a real sleeper. Q (that's the main character's name) is pregnant and to give the baby a good chance she must have bed rest for the last 3 months of the term. Now she is writing her diary. (Sample: 9:00 am- ate breakfast of citron cake and a cup of tea felt baby kicking) etc. There was a thin plot line regarding the building across the way --a threat of a demolishing by the landlord. ”
