- Scraps, a.k.a. the Patchwork Girl: Add a description of this character.
- Ojo the (Un)Lucky: A munchkin boy who goes in search of ingredients for a potion after he causes an accident that turns his uncle into a marble statue. He is smart and quick witted, but doesn't blindly ally himself with Ozma, a ruler he has never met.
- The Scarecrow
- Dorothy Gale
- Scraps the Patchwork Girl: She comes to life via the Powder of Life, but Ojo gave her too much of the wrong kind of brains. She's flighty and unusual, but loyal and kind to her companions. She feels a strong bond with the Scarecrow. She was intended to be a servant for the Crooked Magician's wife, she feels no loyalty to her as she was turned to marble in the same instant that Scraps came to life.
- Bungle the Glass Cat: Also containing the wrong kind of brains, Bungle is a vain and stubborn clear glass cat. He's helpful when he decides to be, but can often be more trouble than he is worth.
- The Shaggy Man: Resourceful and friendly, the Shaggy Man helps Ojo out on his quest, ultimately leading him to seek the aid of Ozma. As a wanderer, the Shaggy Man knows Oz better than anyone else.
- The Woozy: An unusual creature, the Woozy is rescued by the group and joins them.
