Heath quickly sinks in as a likable character - smart and educated from both books and life. He has a few secrets of his own that are unveiled as the book develops that help the reader understand he has come to be who he is - loyal to family and living each day. Also like that his dog is named Frank after his architectural hero, FLWright.
