So many disregard the earliest hours of a brand new baby's life as unimportant. It will soon be forgotten, after all. But we cannot truly know what effects the earliest experiences of fear, pain, and separation can have on a person's mind and heart. The most peaceful beginnings must be the most desirable, even if we ourselves managed to survive a less than tranquil entrance into this world. Gorgeous photographs, Leboyer's work was incredible and helped propel the natural childbirth...
