“So the Devil (yes, that one) abandons Hell, moves to LA and opens a piano bar. This is the opening premise behind Mike Carey's Lucifer, a spinoff of Neill Gaiman's legendary Sandman series. What follows is a 12-volume epic that will make you re-evaluate everything you've ever thought about Christianity. Carey is a masterful storyteller who populates his universe with vivid characters both well-known (the archangels Michael, Gabriel and even God himself) and created (Mazikeen, Lucifer's faithful servant and lover and half-angel Elaine Belloc) to craft a spectacular tale about damnnation, redemption and the end of days.”

And I love how Lucifer is written - neither is he good or really evil.”
“I love Lucifer. It's surprising for me, the stupid-obsessive-Gaiman fan, to say this but I like this series much more than the Sandman. Lucifer is so much more interesting and so much more powerful and so much more beyond everything I could imagine. He's just so cool. ”

His right hand is Mazikeen of the Lilim and she's a driven woman. It's a spin off series from The Sandman and a dark, twisted, great, series. Pick up the first volume and if you like definitly continue. ”
