I had a lot of mixed feelings when it came to this book. I read Hush, Hush and liked it, but Crescendo bothered me a lot. Like the fact that the author seems to encourage teens that it's okay to live by themselves day after day and night after night without a parent or relative near by. And so what does this Nora girl do pretty much every day? She goes out partying and getting into trouble with creepy guys and has a best friend who is ditzy as crap. Actually, they're both pretty ditzy, in my opinion. And the whole amusement park thing at the end of the book was a little over the top... I don't know, I just expected more I guess. I'm glad I got this at the library and didn't purchase it. However, I do have a thing for Patch in this series. I like him a lot--- more than whiney Nora or her best friend, Vee.
