“I didnt really know anything about the Wonderland Killings. I've heard of John Holmes but didnt know anything about him. I still wouldnt know if I hadnt researched it. This book will tell you almost nothing about the murders or what happened afterwards. This book is all about the author. It is wayyyyy too detailed about everything she went through. She doesnt explore the backgrounds of the other people involved but she gives her history practically minute by minute from the time she was born. It could have been a better story if it had been delved into a little deeper but it reads more like a diary. I stuck with it hoping it would get better but it didnt. Usually when I read a book about spousal abuse I end up thinking how strong the woman was to have survived all that but this book left me thinking how dumb she was.
