“This is not a read-from-cover-to-cover kinda book but it is a great reference book with tons of historical evidences on the Christian faith. I need to check out the newest volume of this at some point.”

Some of the arguments are weak, but at the time I read it (at 17) it hit like a sledgehammer. McDowell opened the universe of apologetics to me. I inhaled this book overnight when I was 17, and can't tell you how excited I was to find a book that tried to present the rational basis for Christian faith. ”
