“I enjoy Doctorow's work and I've read nearly all of his novels. I think this is his worst. My first impressions: preachy, and the characters do way too much chin waggling (I don't even know what this is) and eat too many dumplings. This one almost feels like a mix between Little Brother and Makers, and I'd recommend either of those novels over For the Win.”
