  • Kaname Kuran: Night Class President and pureblood vampire. Yuki adores him. He's the progenitor of the Kurans.
  • Yuki Cross: The heroine. The adopted daughter of the Headmaster, and a Guardian who protects Cross Academy. She's a princess of the Kuran family.
  • Zero Kiryu: Yuki's childhood friend, and a Guardian. Shizuka turned him into a vampire. He'll eventually lose his sanity, falling to Level E.
  • Takuma Ichijo: Night Class Vice President. He points his sword at his grandfather who took advantage of him.
  • Hanabusa Aido: Aristocratic vampire, nickname: Idol
  • Akatsuki Kain: Aristocratic vampire, nickname: Wild
  • Senri Shiki: He does things at his own pace. His father Rido possessed him. A model
  • Headmaster Cross: He raised Yuki. He hopes to educate those who will become a bridge between humans and vampires. An ex-hunter.
  • Rido Kuran: Yuki's uncle. He cause Yuki's parents to die, and Kaname shattered his body, but he resurrected after 10 years. He tried to obtain Yuki, but Yuki and Zero killed him.
  • Ichiru: Zero's younger twin brother. He betrayed his family to serve Shizuka.
  • Shizuka Hio: The pureblood who robbed Zero of his family. Kaname killed her.
