People edit see section history

  • Jesus Christ: The most important figure in all of human history. The second member of the Holy Trinity and the one and only intercessor between God and Man. The life, death, burial and resurrection of Christ is documented in the Gospel, i.e. the first four books of the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). He is also known as the Son of God, the Messiah and (his favourite title) the Son of Man.
  • Moses: A prophet of God and the bringer of the Law, Moses was responsible for leading the Hebrews from their slavery in Egypt where they endured "hard bondage". The ultimate goal of this emancipation being the establishment of the nation of Israel beyond the wilderness of the Sinai desert. Some of his best known acts were the delivery of the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai and the building of the tabernacle with its Ark of the Covenant.
