The story of Jet Blue and what it takes to start an airline is a great story and compelling read. Regardless of your airline affiliation, this is illuminating. Read this book - you'll learn a great deal. Even though some of the bloom has has turned on Jet Blue (since the famous snow storm episode), it is still amazing that they are as successful as they are.”

More so as we see a lot of other airlines struggling in existence and potential chapter XI targets. Great Read”

I have to pay something other than expected, I expect to know why. Blue Streak provides a behind-the-scenes look at jetBlue, how it came to be, and how it stays in the air. It's an easy read and it's always good to have an understanding of how a new product enters a saturated market and makes all the difference.”

I wouldnt call it a great management book. It is more of a story of how Jet blue was built. An interesting read and gives a sneak view into world of airlines. It isn't technical and doesnt contain too much data. It is not for a practising Airlines manager. It is for the common person who would want to know what goes into making an airline successful. As a practising manager (though from a non airline industry) I would have liked to see more data, analysis etc. But that would have made the book uninteresting for the lay man. Overall, if you like the airline industry (I do), then this book is really good for a one time read.”
