I am Princess Naamah, a sex demon who is the only one that can change into either female or male form, the eldest child of Lilith and Lucifer. After thousands of years of seducing mortal men and women, I’ve fallen in love with a human soul, one whom I’ve encountered thru the centuries over and over. To be together, I must become human and my human lover has found a way, but to make the transformation complete, I must have a soul. Not just any soul, but the soul of my mother, Lilith, the first human female. To be with the one I love, I will risk everything, even certain death…

Characters/People edit see section history

  • Princess Naamah: The main character of the story. A sex demon who can take either the male or female form. She prefers the female form. She can also take the form of humans, male or female. In her original form, her skin is the color of mahogany with red undertones, her eyes gray with flecks of silver, her lips soft and full. A small waist and ample bottom where her long whipcord tail springs forth with it's small tuft of curly dark hair. Her wings are large and leathery, like a bat in the same color as her skin. She has thinly clawed hands and feet. Her teeth are razor sharp as are the small horns that stick out from her thick black hair, which hangs just below her shoulders. She harvests the male seed through intercourse with men and then takes the male form to deposit the seed into human women. She is the first born of the sons and daughters of Lucifer and Lilith, an elite order of demons. She and her brother, the first male child, are the only two with titles. She falls for the human soul, Eli.
  • Queen Lilith: Naamah's mother and Queen of the Underwolrd. She is the first human female created before Eve. She came from the ground, like Adam, and felt that she was his equal, she refused to be considered second class to a man. An extrodinary beauty with eyes the color of the deepest ocean and raven hair. She left the Garden of Eden and made the Underworld her home. She seduced Lucifer and won his respect. He granted her demonic powers and she has become quite powerful in the Underworld. When she refuses to return to the Garden with Adam, God took her soul, locking it away in the Hall of Souls, never to be used again. Though she wanted nothing to do with Adam, she became jealous when God created Eve and sent Lucifer to seduce Eve into breaking God's law by eating the forbidden fruit.
  • Prince Sydonnai: Naamah's younger brother, an incubus. He can only take the male form, but covets the female form so that can lie with men as well. He is handsome with alabaster like skin, light green eyes with flecks of gold rimmed by thick dark lashes. His thin, waist length raven hair is shiny and his goatee is well trimmed on his chiseled face. He is jealous of Naamah and her ability to take male and female forms. He also wants to be the favorite of their parents.
  • Eli: The human soul who falls in love with Naamah, even after finding out what she is. Through the centuries, his soul has taken many forms, but the first time he met Naamah, he was a shepard along the Euphrates River whose name was Eli. So everytime Naamah sees him, she calls him Eli. He had shoulder length dark hair and dark brown eyes, his skin tanned a deep brown from too many days in the sun. His beard was scruffy and unkempt. He tries to help Naamah become human so that they can be together.

Organizations edit see section history

  • The Knights Templar: The Order of the Temple, a Western Christian Military Order. The organization existed for approximately two centuries in the Middle Ages. Officially endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church around 1129, the Order became a favoured charity throughout Christendom, and grew rapidly in membership and power. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades. Non-combatant members of the Order managed a large economic infrastructure throughout Christendom, innovating financial techniques that were an early form of banking, and building many fortifications across Europe and the Holy Land.

Glossary edit see section history

  • Naamah: Hebrew, meaning pleasant, a figure in Jewish mysticism. She is a succubus and fallen angel, and is generally regarded as an aspect or relation of Lilith. The name Naamah appears in the Hebrew Bible as the daughter of Lamech, sister of Tubal-Cain and half-sister of Jubal. (Genesis 4:22)
  • Succubus: 1. A female demon supposed to descend upon and have sexual intercourse with a man while he sleeps. 2. An evil spirit; a demon. The word is derived from Late Latin succuba "strumpet" (from succubare "to lie under", from sub- "under" and cubare "to lie"), used to describe the supernatural being as well. It is first attested from 1387.
  • Incubus: A lascivious male demon said to possess mortal women as they sleep and to be responsible for the birth of demons, witches, and deformed children. According to one legend the incubus and his female counterpart, the succubus, were fallen angels. The belief in these demons was especially prevalent in the Middle Ages, and stories of assaults by incubi were not uncommon. There are similar spirits in many cultures. In current usage, incubus means a person or thing that oppresses, such as a nightmare.
  • Sydonnai: Also known as Sydonai or Asmodai, the demon of lust according to the Talmud, an authoritative record of rabbinical discussions on Jewish laws, ethics, customs, legends and stories. (It expands on the earlier writings in the Torah and Mishnah, and is the basis for all later codes of Jewish law).
  • Quazi: a familiar spirit, a stout demon, a guardian spirit.
