Pure morphine. Without question, this book stands in as a euphoric drug. I purchased this (or my dad did as a present) at Berkely at the end of a strenuous summer school section. It is the normal text of a computer architecture class, one I had already taken at Wheaton, if you can call it that. My Wheaton class was completely worthless. This book, this incredibly simple and mesmerizing book finally introduced to me how computers work. It explained the few things my not so talented...
