“I LOVED these books - kinda voyeuristic - makes you feel a bit naughty for reading someone elses mail but somehow you just gotta!! But also mysterious and just totally fascinating - works of art each and every one”

Every book leaves you with a cliffhanger that forces you to grab the next one right away. Don't start if you don't have access to all of them, you'll go crazy!”

The book is interactive and as a reader you get to take letters out of envelopes, follow the correspondence of the 2 protagonists by their postcards and notes, and just get caught up in the book by being a voyeur of sorts into the life of these 2 people. ”

The illustrations are weird, interesting, beautiful and/or delightful. Is Strohem (Sabine's surname) an anagram for smother or mothers? The conversations of G&S (they go together like Gilbert & Sullivan) salt the imagination. I highly recommend this book as a form of refreshment.”

It was an interesting concept ... two artists, one living on a small island in the Pacific and the other, an owner of card shop, correspond through letters and postcards that we are able to read. It took less than an hour to read.”

Can't remember all of the story, however. I gave the book to a group of underprivileged girls hoping it would offer a different experience for them, bit of sunshine.
I miss it.”
