“Gaiman's re-work of Jack Kirby's Eternals was enjoyable and intense. When I finished, I found myself wanting to read what happens next - something that comic writers try to inspire, but often fail to accomplish. Apart from a couple of conventional failings (women's worries seem to be, once again, about their children and their lovers, rather than the men's universe shattering concerns), the story taps into a rich universe that begs to be better explored. Unfortunately, like before, Kirby's vision is clouded by Marvel's insistence on shoe-horning in the rest of the Marvel universe. ”
