Didn’t Like It“Though I've been told by many people that this is a wonderful book and a must-read for Pagans and Goddess worshipers, I was very disappointed in it. I found it very boring, full of dry facts that held no interest for me whatsoever. There were a couple good chapters but for the most part I did not...” see full review » see other reviews » |

I did not even bother reading the last few chapters it was so bad. ”

While reading this edition, I borrowed a copy of the first edition to compare the recent edits (which are STUNNING). In one portion of the book, the first edition claims that while the exact number of Pagans in America will *never* be known she estimated the amount at around 20,000. The more recent editions show the growth of Pagan religions, which she totals at 250,000 or more.
A *must* for any Pagan bookshelf”
“Had this for ages and browsed through it now and then, but didn't read it in full until about this time. Basically this is one of the most important books of the Neopagan movement, and you don't have a Pagan library unless you have it. It's good to read for an understanding of history and present.”
