“Patti gave lots of insight of who she is and who the ppl around her was during her great career. Little tidbits about other singers will have u laughing and surprised that they did such a thing. Patti also told of the time she was raped by a well known singer.... and the truth behind one of biggest hits 'u are my friend' is very heartfelt!”

She's so down to earth and like one of your girlfriends. Great story about her life.. Also, if you love Patty like I do, get her cookbook if you want to learn how to make good down home southern cuisine. Warning, the food is rich, good and fattening. She did however come out with another cookbook on the lighter side after learning she was diabetic. It is good too and more my speed as I am a Weight Watcher!”

From the traumatic experiences of her childhood to her eventual triumph on the stage and screen, she has shown herself to be a true lady, a phenomenal singer, and a noteworthy humanitarian. The book itself reads very much like a conversation with "little-miss-over-the-rainbow" herself and is thereby an easy and inspiring read. At the end of it all, i was very appreciative that "Patsy Holte" had taken the time to share her revelations of a lifetime with the world.”
